Die Autorin versteht es wie kaum eine andere, verschiedene Erzählstränge gekonnt vorwärts zu treiben und schlussendlich zusammen zu führen. Sowohl die Story in der Gegenwart als auch die Erzählung in der Vergangenheit sind fesselnd und toll geschrieben. Wie üblich sind auch einige überraschende Wendungen garantiert!Natürlich bewegen wir uns hier nicht auf literarischen Höhen, für belletristische Unterhaltung sorgt Riley jedoch allemal immer wieder!
Hörbuch und EBook das macht das Lesen englischer Romane perfekt, so hat man Spaß! Dieses Buch hatte ich schon in der Deutschen Ausgabe gelesen, das vereinfachte das Leseverständnis natürlich.
Spannend und unterhaltsam man kann sich richtig festlesen
Ich mag den Schreibstil und die Reisen und Verbindungen in die Vergangenheit. Am besten gefällt mir ihr neues Buch “Seven Sisters“.

Die Lucinda Riley hat eine wunderbare Art zu schreiben, ich habe inzwischen alle Bücher von ihr gelesen. 4 davon in Englisch obwohl mein Englisch nicht besonders gut ist. Aber mit dem eingebautem Englisch im Kindle lies sich das gut bewerkstelligen.
Das Buch ist äusserst spannend geschrieben, eine leichte Lektüre und hat mir sehr gut gefallen! Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.
angenehm fuer einen verregneten Sonntagnachmittag, liest sich fluessig und laesst in gefuehlen schwelgenwerde weitere Buecher von Lucinda lesen, danke
